Step 2: Create, Edit, Clone, or Remove Canned Responses
Once you have navigated to the Canned Responses Dashboard you are ready to create, edit, clone, or remove your Canned Responses. The messages are organized into folders so they can be easily found.
Create a New Folder and Message in the Canned Responses Dashboard
1. Type the name of your folder in the box that says "Folder Name" and then click on the blue button that says "Create Folder".
2. Click on the folder you would like to add a message to.
3. Type your message in the text box that has "Aa" in it. You can add in emojis and pictures by clicking on the smiley face or landscape picture next to the text box.
4. Click on the blue plus sign button to add the message.
Clone a Folder
1. Click on the double square icon next to the folder you would like to clone. It will be added to the bottom of your Canned Response Folders list.
Remove or Move a Folder or Message
1. Click on the trash can icon beside the folder name or individual message to delete a specific folder or message. When you delete a folder, you will be asked if you "Are you sure you want to delete....?".
2. Click on the move pointer icon to change the order of the folder or messages within a folder.
Edit a Folder or Message
1. Click on the pencil icon next to the folder name or message you would like to edit.
2. Click on the blue save button to change the name.
Export Canned Responses
1. To export messages click on the blue button that says "export" in the lower left hand corner of your screen.
2. Click on the small square next to the folder you would like to export or you can export all the folders by clicking on the small square next to where it says "Canned Responses Folders". The messages will export as a .xlsx document.
Import Canned Responses
1. To import folders and messages click on the blue button that says "import" in the lower left hand corner of your screen.
2. Select the .xlsx document you would like to import.
3. The messages you import will appear in your list of Canned Responses folders.
Create a New Folder and Message in the Pepper CRM
1. Click on the blue button that says "add" to create a new folder in the "Canned Responses Folder" section of the CRM.
2. Type the name of your folder in the text box that says "New template".
3. Press the blue button that says "Save" to add the folder to your Canned Responses.
4. Click on the folder you would like to add a new message to and then press the blue button that says "add" to create a new message.
5. Type your message in the text box that says "New message".
6. Press the blue button that says "Save" to add the message to the folder in your Canned Responses.
