Step 3: Send a Message Using Canned Responses

After creating a Canned Response, you are ready to start sending people messages using your Canned Responses! Start by finding a person you want to message in Facebook Messenger.

1.  Click on a person's name under "Chats" on the left hand side of Messenger or search a person in the search bar to start a conversation with someone.

2.  Click on the paper airplane icon on the right hand side of your screen.

3.  Select the folder you would like to pick your message from and then click on the paper airplane icon next to the message you want to send. The message will copy to the text box in your conversation. Please note that the text box needs to be empty before you select a Canned Response or else the Canned Response will not copy into the box.

4.  Click on the blue arrow to send or press "enter" or "return" on your keyboard to send the message.
